Jeep Steering Shaft Replacement

I own a 1980 Jeep CJ-7 I bought for myself in 1999 as a 21st birthday present. These days it’s just an around-town toy to drive, and I’ve been working to fix it up some. The latest project was replacing the lower steering shaft, steering shaft bearing, and the drag link ball end. The results were a decent improvement in the steering. Next up are repairs to the sway bar, new sway bar links, and new sway bar bushings, along with a new speedometer cable.
